Meet The Team

The following provides a brief overview of the P3 Computers team.

Sales

Chris Wildeman - Education And Retail Sales And Support

Chris joined P3 in late May 2000. He joined us from GAME in Blackburn, and has previously worked in the retail IT sales field for a number of years, including a long spell with PV Computers in Accrington.

His responsibilities include the managing our ever increasingly popular showroom, handling all aspects of the retail trade. He has also fitted in very well to the P3 team, and looks set for a long and prosperous career within the company, which has seen a steady increase in responsibilities.

Paul Dust - Technical Sales

Paul was born and lives in the Rossendale Valley. Prior to joining P3 Paul spent 20 years in the sales of Home Entertainment equipment.

His responsibilities within P3 are to provide technical help and advice in the showroom and day to day administration

Paul Walsh - Technical Sales

A local lad from Burnley joined P3 in October 2006 having previously worked in the Radio Industry for 6 years and the Sales Industry for 15 years. Paul left the position of Sales Manager of 107 The Bee Radio Station to join our team.

His responsibilities are to provide technical help & advice in the showroom and to source new business

Administrative

Paul Cumpstey - Managing Director, Corporate Sales, Purchasing

When Paul founded P3 in 1995, he could only dream of the success that would follow.

Having started life as a paviour with Burnley Borough Council in 1978, his career took a turn into the IT industry in the mid 80's, where he worked his way up-to service manager with a local computer company for many years, before taking the plunge to start his own business in 1995.

Having brought his own level of customer care to P3 Computers, and using it as the main stay of the business, he has over-seen the growth of the company to it's present position of year on year record sales figures, a fabulous and historic 20000 sq. ft. building, and the steady increase of staff, creating a solid and extremely dependable team. Paul is responsible for the bulk of purchasing, along with looking after the companies corporate and blue chip client base. He intends to continue taking the business forward in the same controlled and considered fashion that has become the trademark for P3's success.

Jan Dickinson - Director, Administation

Jan joined P3 Computers in April 1998, having held a number of administration and sales positions previously. She brought a wealth of experience, plus a degree of 'level-headedness' to the then male dominated workforce!

This was ultimately rewarded with a position on the board of directors, proving that all staff at P3 can advance themselves with the right effort, attitude and commitment.

Technical

Jo Kinder - Technical Manager

Jo, joined P3 Computers in February 2002, to act as support to both sales and technical departments. Such is the demand for our support services he was drafted full time into the department late in 2004.

He joined us from Northern Carpet Group of Brierfield having worked there for 10 years support, installing and maintaining the systems. His pleasant personality ensures he remains popular with both colleagues and clients alike, and is enjoying a busy but fruitful career with P3 Computers.

Brett Garrard - Senior Technician

Brett became involved in the IT industry from school, and as with all our team, offers a huge amount of experience. He joined P3 in June 1997 as workshop technician, responsible for the building and configuration of PC's, as well as installation and repair of computers and printers.

His expertise in specialist areas such as printers, monitors and laptops has proved invaluable over the years.

Marc Storey - Service And Support

Marc joined P3 in late May 2000. Having been involved in the engineering industry for 14 years, he decided to educate himself to Microsoft Certified level, and is now the main Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer working at P3 Computers.

Responsible primarily for the installation, support and smooth running of systems and networks across the region, Marc has developed into a key member of many companies teams, as well as our own!

Dawn Elliot - Service And Support

Dawn joined our service department in July 2000, having previously worked at Time Computers.

She has developed into a key member of the team in configuration and support of our systems. The only member of the P3 team to have an interest in Golf, and a decent handicap to boot!

Roger Ashworth - System Configuration & Support

Roger joined P3 in early 2005 from Harry Garlick, and brings with him a great number of years experience. Initially trained in TV repair, he has worked for a number of companies before deciding to run his own.

A keen angler, Roger is now involved with the construction and configuration of our systems, and with his keenness for perfection is proving a valuable addition to the team. Also aids with installation duties, plus end user support and troubleshooting.

Dave Smith - Technical Engineer

Dave joined P3 October 2006 and was previously employed as Customer Service and Technical Support for a multi national company.

Dave's main role in P3 is to provide telephone technical support & system repairs.
